"Age-Friendly Community" Survey Seeks Input

The Chemung County Department of Aging and Long Term Care recently announced that Chemung County has been accepted as a member of the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities, which will include an ongoing process to help older residents live rewarding, productive and safe lives, and to enhance the quality of life for all ages.

Designation as an Age-Friendly Community can be utilized as a marketing tool to attract and retain business and people of all ages. Members of the public are asked to share their ideas about how to make the community more age-friendly by completing the Chemung County Age-Friendly Survey before November 30th.
