The History of Chemung Canal Trust Company CCTC’s first headquarters was located at 415 East Water Street, the current site of the Chemung County Historical Society and Chemung Valley History Museum. Come explore the 175 years of the bank's history through an exhibit filled with mementos and artifacts, photographs and memories. Chemung County Historical Society Members have free admission, admission charges for non-members are $3/Adults, $2/Senior Citizens (55+), $1/Students up to age 18, and children under 5 are free! Chemung River Walks and Talks River Jam 12:00 p.m. TO 1:00 p.m. Come and see local artists at the Grove Street Landing as they share their work inspired by the Chemung River. Transportation to Groove Street will be provided. We will begin at the Chemung Valley History Museum and transportation to Groove Street will be provided. The River Walk and Talk is free and will last one hour. Space is limited to 20 people, please call 734-4167 to make reservations. September 6 Visit the Chemung Canal Trust Company Antique Auto Show held on the grounds of the Watkins Glen International Raceway. More than 250 antique and classic cars are expected to be on site and part of the competition!
September 7 Watkins Glen International hosts the US Vintage Grand Prix, the largest vintage racing event in the country! The year’s event will commemorate 60 Years of Road Racing in The Glen.

A Community Festival 11 am - 6 pm Free Admission! Food vendors on site! The Downtown Elmira campus of Chemung Canal’s Main Office will host an outdoor festival featuring local bands and musical groups, dance ensembles, activities for children and information from local not-for-profit organizations! The event will follow the Buddy Walk fundraiser in Downtown Elmira to support the Down Syndrome Network of the Twin Tiers. Walk Registration begins in the CCTC parking lot at 9 am.
